MASTIFFS
JUDGE - MRS ANNE GRIFFIN
(UK)
I would
like to thank Garden State Mastiff Fanciers for facilitating this wonderful
opportunity to judge our breed. Also exhibitors
and spectators for the sporting manner in which my placings were received. Soundness and temperaments were excellent,
type varied, and in some cases condition was not good. Attention needs to be paid to
dentition. I saw overshot jaws,
excessively undershot jaws and several exhibits had teeth which were missing.

Delightful fawn baby, showing a little bit of haw. Already got length and depth and width with
plenty of bone. Showed her little heart
out. 2nd Huethers Eastwind Semper Fi United
Another nice fawn a little plainer in the head than 1st. Again stood to be gone over and moved like a
seasoned campaigner. Not got the width
of 1st but plenty of bone and good angulation and head may improve. 3rd
Ogdens Princess Annabelle Leigh
Very immature compared with the first two but good bone and angulation
needs to widen but should mature well.

Kissed Well put together large fawn
bitch with typey head. Straight bone,
strong pasterns tight feet. Expressive
head should develop well. 2nd Morrells
Greiner Hall Violet No secret that I own the brother to this bitch and it was
interesting for me to see his sibling.
Smaller bitch who really made no effort to show herself until the very
end. If she learns to relax her many virtues will become obvious.
Beautifully proportioned if slightly small with wonderful breed type 3rd
Winslows Serentitys Sachet-Ole
Very light fawn, black mask - ears need more pigmentation. Light eye spoils expression and head rather
domed at present. Nice body. 4th Stovers
Countrymanor Meant to be

potential. At present head not in
correct proportions. Should have better
